The Molpus Woodlands Group, LLC (Molpus), a Registered Investment Advisor, was founded in 1996 as a Timber Investment Management Organization (TIMO) and has a company legacy dating back to 1905. Molpus is one of the oldest timber-related companies in the nation, with experience in all facets of timber management, manufacturing and marketing. Molpus is currently managing approximately 2,000,000 acres of timberland located in eighteen states.
As a part of its timberland management, Molpus licenses hunting rights on its managed properties through an online licensing program. Each tract of land is mapped and individually designated as a Recreational License Unit (RLU) for identification purposes. Hunting privileges are extended to hunt clubs that purchase license agreements with Molpus.
